Full steam ahead here at panad HQ! Firstly, Mr Phormula recently uploaded a submission to the Uk beatbox championships 2013. One amongst over 110 beatboxers, Mr Phormula was one of 40 selected out of the submitted videos - Cynrychioli. The Uk beatbox championships promises to be a fully packed vocal pumped day with battles / performances taking place from mid day until only one beatboxer remains. Who will claim the title of Uk beatbox champion 2013? Our guess is a good as yours! Mr Phormula has also been enetered into the Uk beatbox looping championships which will happen on the same day. The event takes place on June 22nd at the Brixton Jam in London, the event can be found here. If you want to check out mr Phormula's submission click the video to below! Amongst getting married / honeymooning and general workshop business, Mr Phomula also has the next album release on the horizon. The second album promises to further the fatness found on the debut album "Forward Thinking". Release is set for June and boasts a wealth of collaborations including Leafdog and BVA of critically acclaimed hiphop group The Four Owls, Dr Syntax / Sonny Jim / Madhat Mcgore / Skamma / Jo Blow to name a but a few. You will need to buy this - just sayin ;)

Remix duty is taken care of via Eatgood's Kelakovski / RLD records and four owls member Leafdog / next level dance producer Jay Robinson and super producer Rob Spaull. Amongst other news, Mr Phormula's second album is now officially finished and is currently in the mastering process. As per usual, tracks consist of that panad pumped production along with collaboratins form a huge array of Uk rap artists including Leafdog / BVA / Sonny Jim / Dr Syntax / Skamma / Jo Blow to name only a few! Expect this release to hit the digital realm towards the end of April. Keep your eyes peeled people!! Mr Phormula being the workhorse he is, al ready has plans for two new projects set for release this summer, all info is being kept under warps for now! Amongst other news, Phorm was recently approached by welsh language program Y Lle with an invite to perform two new tracks on the show. Mr Phormula teamed up with super talented bassist Huw Williams and created two exclusive tracks for the program which can be seen here via S4C clic

Mr Phormulas single Minority is almost at completion. Firstly, way back in November 2012 Phorm hosted a hiphop night courtesy of EMW. Acts included The culture vultures and Four Owls members Leafdog / BVA and Smellington Piff. The night was a success as expected and also resulted in a collaboartion between Leafdog / BVA and Phorm for Phormula's forthcoming second album release, set to hit the digital realm in March. To date, the album boasts a wealth of some of the hottest Uk rap artists including Sonny Jim / Dr Syntax / Madhat Mcgore / Jo Blow / Leafodg / BVA / Hoax emcee / Dybl L and more tbc. Expect another demonstration of finely crafted bi-lingual boom bapness! Keep em peeled!

Next up, In a run up to the next Phormula album. Panad products has teamed up with welsh rap collective and Pen-Ta-Gram affiliates "Never Miss", dope welsh rap artsist aboard! Dybl L / Hoax Emcee / Artifactz / Killah Gorillah. The collectives came together over the festive season and created a free e.p that will be up for download via the shop section very soon. Tracks consist of that bi-lingual boom bapness! Production handled via Mr Phormula and Artifactz. This e.p is not be missed and will be available very soon!
Last up, gigs for 2013 are flying in. Check the gigs box on the left for all the forthcoming shows. Loads more in the pipeline including regular slots at certain venues etc. New album to drop / a free e.p / tons of collaboartaions and more! Indeed a crazy month for Phorm! The recent Radio1 documentray "Rap Britannia" got aired on Radio1 Sep 23rd alongside the Uk rap anthem which racked up over 300,000 views in the first week! This resulted in a invitation to perform the Uk rap anthem at this year's MOBO awards, first ever welsh language rap artist to appear on the MOBO's - Result!
Recent collaborations have also resulted in Phorm working with Barry based rap artist "Skamma", who's Skamma?!? Check this vid, get to know. Tipped to blow, expect Skamma's album to be full of bangers with production from Phorm / Mr Digital and others. Ridiculous! Click "Skamma" to get his band page.
Next up, work is now underway on Phormula's new e.p which is set to hit the digital realm this november including collaborations with Dr Syntax, Sonny Jim, Skamma and more, this is shaping up to be a Panad produced banger! In the last update we told you about mr Phormula's appearance on Charlie Sloth's "Rap Brittania", well now its online and ready to view! The documentary explores hiphop from all corners of the U.K including Ireland / Scotalnd / Wales as well as Enland. The doc features Mr Phormula alongside fellow welsh rap artist Hoax emcee repping North Wales. A super fresh U.K rap anthem was also created in the process. Massive shout outs to all involved! Recently Phomula has also been knocking up a new promotional video to advertise the workshops aspect of the site. Phorm linked up with local drummer genius Al Moller to create the visual goodie that greets you on the workshop section of the site. Or if your too lazy to click that, you can click the image here!
Amongest other news Phorm has been busy on the gigs front with a wealth of new gigs to date. One of which takes place on November 16th at The Parrot, carmarthen. Phorm will play host to a super dope night of hiphop and electronica courtesy of Electronic Music Wales featuring the likes of RLD records consisting of Leafdog / BVA and Piff Smellington with support from local hiphop outfit Culture Vultures and many more! You need to get down to this, do it quick though - tickets are flying out!! Volume also returns at Bangor's legendary Embassy nightclub - October 5th, featurning a load of dope artists as usual, Phorm on a new project (underwraps for now!) supporting legendary Kissy Sellout - this certainly will be a sell out so grab a ticket! Loads of other dope shows include Mash Up supporting British actor Danny Dyer, Check the box to the right with all the latest info on shows near you!
Firstly, Radio1 extra recently contacted Phormula with an invitation to be part of Charlie Sloth's documentary "It's grime up north" The documentary concentrates on hiphop and artists around the U.K, naturally Phormula accepted and did an interview followed by a beatbox / rap cypher with fellow welsh rapper Hoax Emcee. Phorm also travelled down to London to record a verse on an anthem that coincides with the documentary that features all the artists. Broadcast and airplay to follow on Radio1 and BBC3 over the forthcoming months! Big tings a gwan as one would say.
Next up, the "instrumentals for sale" section is now live! Looking to get that special bounce on your tracks?? Then this section is for you. All instrumentals are made in house by Mr Phormula himself and all have that certain Panad watermark! Grab them while you can folks!
Amongst other news Mr Phormula was recently approached by long time Dj and promoter Ed Mackie about an exciting up and coming collective called the Bass Rebels. Consisting of core members Jay Robinson, Invaders of nine, Switch fusion and Ed Mackie. Phorm was invited to join the collective as an Mc / host, naturally Phorm jumped up. The first E.p "Don't Go" by Invaders of Nine has just hit the airwaves and is creating mass vibes! A record launch is Bangor's Embassy also proved that this collective has what it takes to raise the roof! Expect to hear more this exciting up and coming collective over the forthcoming months.
Gigs have also been aplenty recently, from Gwyl Gobaith, Le Moulin rouge to the Bass rebels record launch, Phorm has certainly been all ovetr the shop with no signs of slowing down. To top it all off, a new digital E.P is underway featuring an already exciting list of collaborations with more to follow, expect the E.P to hit the digital realm before Christmas!

Alongside "This Morning's" Matt Johnson and S4C's very own Nia Parry, you can brush up on your welsh lingo every Sunday @ 5pm on S4C. Happy new year people!! Plenty a panad and mulled wine have been consumed over the festive season! Batteries are now fully charged and we`re ready to roll into the 012, full steam ahead! Amongst other news, Mr Phormula has recently found himself opening up for the legendary Ugly Duckling as part of Cardiff's SWN festival, An incredible evening alongside a well deserved hookup with UD's producer - Einstein! Ugly Duckling of course also smashed their set with a very "House party" vibe that complimented the evening well! Cheers SWN! Same time next year!
Also cruising along at a very speedy pace is Mr Phormula's residency at Bangor's new premier nightclub "Embassy". Previous months saw Phorms opening up for the legendary Scratch Perverts, who shook Bangor to the absolute core! A huge evening that boasted success! As well as previously opening for Radio 1's Fabio, it's safe to say that Embassy is dominating the boards right now! Last show saw phorm hosting for Estonia's "Mord Fustang" an incredible house / Tech / Electro artist that smashed it - as expected!
